Building our home with West Rock Custom Homes was a pleasure! Brian and Susanna have a wealth of knowledge in construction and design and are both incredibly meticulous. The entire process was very organized and transparent. Communication was excellent - we were consulted on every detail and were kept in the loop every step of the way. They made sure that our neighbors stayed informed and happy throughout the building. They really did go above and beyond. Even a year later, when a small issue came up, Susanna was on it! I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone contemplating a renovation or new build. We’re so happy with how our forever home turned out!

We hired West Rock Custom Homes in the fall of 2017 to help us design and build our new home (recommended by a friend who is a finisher). Due to our past construction experiences, we were very hesitant to go through a new house build again. Simply put, West Rock Custom Homes was fantastic. The project was on budget and professionally handled all the way through. On a cost-plus build, we absolutely loved their transparent cloud-based accounting system, where costs versus budget were adjusted nearly daily. It also allowed for the review of all estimates and invoices from the selected service providers. Brian and Susanna did an amazing job, and we would recommend them to anybody wanting a positive, attention-to-detail, and on-budget house build.

West Rock came highly recommended by a colleague at work. My wife and I met with Brian and Susanna, and from the first meeting to the final sign-off of our renovation, it was an absolute pleasure. Brian is the consummate professional; he holds your hand through the nuts & bolts of what is involved in the project and makes sure the trades are on time and on budget. Susanna has a flair for design and decor that was invaluable to my wife and I. A few years ago, we hired West Rock Custom Homes to renovate our three bathrooms. The result of this renovation was so impressive! The attention to detail, high quality of workmanship, and, above all, staying within budget made the decision to rehire West Rock for a complete floorboards and studs renovation of our 30-year home. Brian not only kept us well-informed of the budget and the schedule, but he constantly communicated new ideas and solutions for the project on a daily basis. His knowledge of all trades enabled West Rock to hire superb subcontractors. As a result, the work was excellent, and we felt comfortable in our own home. Brian and our designer had a very good working relationship. It is common for large renovations to have a multitude of surprises crop up. The two of them were very creative in finding affordable and inventive solutions. Our home is absolutely breathtaking; we would never have been able to achieve our vision without Brian, his dedication, professionalism, and hard work on this project. From our first meeting with Brian, we had a good feeling, which persisted through subsequent meetings right to the completion of our major home renovation. We always felt our trust was well-placed.
